Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American actress and model who is also a TV hostess as well as a comedian. Panganiban is often referred to as the "new queen of Drama" by a variety of media publications. Her name is also acknowledged as among the Philippines the most skilled and diverse actors. The contest ended in second place becoming the youngest finalist ever in the history of the show. Angelica Hale suffered from double pneumonia in 2012. At the time, she was four years old when she was diagnosed. The reason for her disease was a severe strain of strep bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was forced to put Angelica Hale onto ECMO Life-Support after she desperately required life-saving medical treatments. The kidneys of her did not heal when she contracted an infection with septicae and eventually suffered numerous organ malfunctions. Her new normal was peritoneal and then the hemodialysis. After an 80-day hospital stay Angelica appeared to be dying and then on a road to healing. Angelica's life was forever transformed after she was diagnosed with dialysis of the kidney. She would receive the donated kidney from her mother. Angelica and her mother had an operation that was successful on the 13th of September, 2013. The surgery was performed at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals that are located next to each other. Angelica Hale, a young teenager from Atlanta, who always dreamed of becoming an actress and a singer and is currently working towards that goal.
